Public transit services and data.

Use the service pages for current rider information and the Transportation Plans section for regional transit planning. Schedules, fares, alerts, and eligibility rules change frequently, so this site links to the agencies that maintain them rather than duplicating them.

Regional Transit Planning and History#

State Transit Connections#

  • NMDOT Park and Ride

Provides current express-bus schedules, fares, rider alerts, and stop information for NMDOT Park and Ride, including the weekday Albuquerque-to-Los Alamos route and connections with Rail Runner stations.

  • NMDOT Transit and Rail Division

Collects statewide public-transit and rail plans, programs, grant resources, provider information, Rail Runner and Park and Ride links, and permitting guidance for access to or crossings of railroad right-of-way.

Statewide Planning Context#

  • Planned and Potential Transit Service Map

Shows the Albuquerque metropolitan area’s planned and potential regional transit service network adopted with Transitions 2045, replacing the former Long Range Transit Network as the current interactive planning reference.

  • Connect New Mexico: Statewide Public Transportation Plan (May 2025)

NMDOT’s final statewide public transportation plan establishes the broader policy and investment context for transit providers, riders, and connections affecting Albuquerque. It supplements local and regional plans; it does not replace ABQ RIDE or MRCOG service and programming sources.
