Traffic analysis#

  • MRCOG Traffic Counts Viewer

Maps regional traffic counts by roadway section and approximate count location, with tabular-data and map exports supporting analysis across Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, and the wider MRCOG planning area.

  • MRMPO Traffic Monitoring

Explains MRMPO’s regional traffic-count program and links roadway volumes, vehicle classifications, speeds, flow maps, and related tools used to understand Albuquerque-area travel patterns, congestion, and infrastructure needs.

  • Congestion Management Process archives

Preserves regional corridor rankings, congestion profiles, strategy matrices, network maps, commuting studies, transit travel-time analysis, adaptive-signal findings, and related Albuquerque-area congestion-management work dating to 2008.

Intelligent transportation systems#

  • MRMPO Intelligent Transportation Systems

Collects regional plans, maps, strategies, and incident-management resources for coordinated traffic signals, traveler information, dynamic message signs, roadway monitoring, emergency response, and other technology-based transportation operations.

  • 2023 Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area ITS Architecture

Defines the regional framework and consensus blueprint for coordinated intelligent transportation system deployment, data sharing, project phasing, federal compliance, and consistency with metropolitan plans and programmed projects.

  • FFY 2024-2029 TIP ITS review and architecture certification (2023)
